Flash Embed Tutorial

This page have been created for one purpose - to teach you how to embed Flash files straight into your pages. However, since Friendster and Myspace encoding are dynamic, there's no guarantee that the information provided here will work, therefore, you should consult Friendster or Myspace's Support instead.

As for the embedding tutorial, stick with us and we'll show you how to do it step by step.

Webpages

1. Copy the code from the code box found on this Site. Make sure to highlight everything in it before copying.

2. Paste the code into your HTML code anywhere you wish providing that it is contained in the body tag. Don't forget to terminate the tag too.

Warning: Do not embed two Flash Audio Files in the same page as this will create some problems like dual music projection, or even a crash.

Note: There are some servers that does not support embedding. The browsers will normally initiate the embedded object but it won't work due to the inhibitor effect of a particular server.

Friendster Accounts

2. Go to your Friendster account, go to Profile, then in the Profile page, click on Edit Profile.

3. In the Edit Profile Page, paste the code either on Friendster's About Me box, Describe Who do you want to meet box, or Add Media box. The Add Media box can be found under the Customize tab.

4. Click on the Save button to save your settings.

Weblogs

This heavily depends on the type of editor a particular blog uses. Some supports embedded objects while some don't. Visit the Blog's documentation for further information.

To embed, your blog must support the Edit HTML function, so that you can insert the code into the Widget Template's encoding. Save or Publish your blog thereafter.

We recommend you to use Google's Blogger since it offers Widget Template Customization, Edit HTML function, and it also supports embedded objects. This is how to do it on Google's Blogger:

1. Copy the codes from the code box found on this Site.

2. Access your Blogger account.

3. From the Dashboard, select the Posts link on the Manage your Blogs box.

4. In the Manage Posts page, edit a particular posting where you want to insert the audio code, or you may click on the New Post button to create a new page.

5. In the Create or Edit Post page, select Edit HTML.

6. Insert the code into the HTML code. There is no need to close the HTML or Body tags, however, you should know where to insert it. Which means, you ought to at least have basic HTML knowledge before proceeding, as doing so without understanding the consequences might destroy your post's appearance.

7. Select Publish Post thereafter.

8. Now, click on the Settings tab.

9. Under Settings, click on the Formatting tab.

10. On the Formatting Settings page, go to Show box and type 1, then select posts. The purpose of this is so that multiple pages with Flash Music won't get shown altogether, as this will cause undesirable outcomes.

Warning: You should prevent multiple Flash Music embedded pages from showing simultaneously. This will result to undesirable outcomes.

Note: This information is subject to change depending on the Blog Site's update.
